Gran KM-8120 mm Mortar Guided Weapon System

PURPOSE AND MAIN TASKS

The system is designed for destruction of guided fragmentation - high-explosive mine armored and non-armored vehicles, artillery cannons, utilities day-and night on the flat terrain and under highland conditions when the fire positions are located at up to 3000 m elevation above the sea level. 
 

 

SPECIFIC FEATURES

  • In the process of combat operation, Gran destructs both fixed and moving targets high efficiently with the first round without fire adjustment. 
  • Targets located at up to 300 m distance from each other are hit at non-changed firing settings. 
  • Simultaneous firing several targets with several mortars not interfering each other.
  • Firing with short weather and ballistic preparation.
  • Hitting the targets moving in the narrow passage ways arranged behind the high shelter ridges, inclusive of their back slopes, high-precision night-time firing.

 

Malakhit system ensures target detection and illumination (inclusive of the night conditions), topo-geodetic referencing and orientation of the fire-position and command and observation post, automated computation and input of fire settings.
