PURPOSE AND MAIN TASKS

Msta-S 155 mm self-propelled howitzer is designed for destruction (suppression) of artillery and mortar batteries, tanks, anti-tank and other armored enemy vehicles; fighters and firing weapons, air defense and missile defense facilities and radar equipment; destruction of the field fortification and other defense facilities, prevention of enemy infantry and tank reserves.
