 KAB-500Kr and KAB-500OD are equipped with TV-correlation target homing heads (HH) and different warheads. TV homing heads with the correlation target information processing algorithm are capable to “remember” the target location and correct the bomb flight until it meets the target implementing the “fire-and-forget” concept. Such HH allows for hitting the low-contrast and camouflaged targets, should the reference points and target coordinates against these reference points be available.
