High tactical and technical characteristics that allow to use S-300VM (Antey-2500) for air defense of the critical administrative, industrial and military facilities, troop groups, coastal infrastructure and naval forces at stationing site.

 

With regard to the organizational structure, the anti-aircraft missile battalion including the control and targeting station as part of the command  post and two detection RS - surveillance and sector looking is equipped with Antey-2500 system, as well as several anti-aircraft missile batteries inclusive of the multi-channel missile guidance station, launchers and chargers with two missile types.
