PURPOSE AND MAIN TASKS

AGS-30 30-mm automatic grenade launcher system is designed for fire support of the infantry, air-borne and special-purpose army units.

It ensures hitting the uncovered fighters, inclusive of the fighters in the ditches, trenches and on the back slopes with fragmentation ammunition, non-armored military vehicles with low-angle and high angle fire. 

Small system dimensions ensure fire position concealment, capability to quickly change and view the firing from the embrasures.

Capability of grenade launcher transportation with the mount both in the travel and fire position by one person is ensured for the first time for such weapon class.

It may be installed as part of the remotely controlled unit on different weapons.

It is light, compact, mobile, efficient weapon.
