Arkan ZUBK23Round with 9M117M1 Guided Rocket

PURPOSE AND MAIN TASKS

Arkan 3ZUBK23-3 complete loading round with 9M117M1-3 guided rocket is designed for hitting the up-to-date tanks equipped with explosive-reactive armor, small-size PFP-, hull-down targets, low-speed low-altitude hovering helicopter-type targets in the process of BMP-3 100-mm launch gun firing. The latest research and process achievement were used for Arkan round development.

The round includes 9M117M1-3 anti-tank guided rocket and the stab detonator steel case where the projectile is arranged. The rocket is launched (fired) from the launcher bore.

9M117M1-3 guided rocket  has the tandem hollow charge warhead and may efficiently hit the ground, surface and air-borne targets at any day time, under all infantry combat vehicle operation conditions, inclusive of the desert, highland and water conditions.

The guided rocket has the front tail control configuration. The cruise engine is arranged in the middle rocket section and is a solid fuel (dry-fuel) propulsion engine.

The rocket flight is controlled with the semi-automatic jam-resistant guidance system with command transmission via the laser beam directly from the combat infantry vehicle compartment.
