28 - 31 October 2008, the 12th International Forum of Means for Provision of State Security "Interpolitex-2008" will be staged in the grounds of the All-Russia Exhibition Centre in Moscow.

The Russian Interior Ministry and the FSMTC of Russia are appointed to be organizers of the Exhibition.

Solemn opening of «Interpolitex – 2008» will take place in the conference hall of Pavilion 69 at 12.00 on 28 October 2008. Top state officials, heads of federal government authorities are expected to visit the ceremony.

The Exhibition will display about 5,000 exhibits of military, dual use and civil products of 250 Russian and foreign companies.

This year, the Russian exposition combines 22 defense enterprises which will advertize more than 500 brands of military purpose products and showcase 56 full-scale versions.

Foreign products will be on display at stands of 11 companies from 7 states (Belarus, Germany, the USA, Austria, the Netherlands, Switzerland, and Denmark).

Business agenda includes more than 20 conferences, workshops, and Round Tables, including «Matters of state regulation of a technical policy in anti-terrorist and anti-criminal protection of facilities», «GLONASS technologies in control systems of mobile units of law-enforcement bodies and internal troops of the Interior Ministry of Russia», an All-Russia meeting of forensic medical examiners, practice and science conference «Current aspects of technical development of protection of state border and border infrastructure facilities», etc.

On 29 October, the training center of the Interior Ministry will be used for demonstration exercises of special units of the Interior Ministry.

The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation expresses hope that the 12th International Forum of Means for Provision of State Security "Interpolitex-2008" will enable to develop and strengthen cooperation and business relationships between Russia and foreign partners in MTC.
