The Russian-Indian military-technical cooperation has been in existence for more than four decades, and it is an important component of the strategic partnership between our countries. It has a planned and long-term nature: India is the only country with which Russia has been implementing the Program for military-technical cooperation till 2010, covering almost all areas of cooperation between military-industrial complexes of the two states.

During visits to Moscow in October-November, 2007, by Minister of Defense of the Republic of India A. K. Antony and the Prime Minister of the Republic of India M. Singh, cooperation agreements for design and manufacture of a advanced fifth generation fighter and multi-role transport aircraft were signed. The projects should become one of the largest MTC cooperation programs of the two countries

Small-sized elements of ammunition and sighting systems for small arms will be showcased as full-scale MPP versions.

For the first time, advertising materials about new models of Russian small arms and ammunition to earlier delivered weapons will be presented.

Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation The FSMTC of Russia views DEFEXPO INDIA– 2008 as important stage in development and strengthening of the military-technical cooperation, and associated business ties between Russia and its foreign partners, and, above all, with the countries of the Indian-Pacific region.
