From 17 to 21 November 2013, Dubai Airport Expo (United Arab Emirates) will play host to the International Dubai Air Show 2013. Since 1989, one of the largest regional aerospace exhibitions has been held biannually with the assistance of the Government, the Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, and the Defence Ministry of the United Arab Emirates.

The total exhibition area covers 325 000 sq. metres. The participation has been confirmed by 883 companies from 47 states. The largest expositions will be presented by the United States of America (138 companies), the United Arab Emirates (134 companies), Germany (46 companies), the United Kingdom (50 companies), France (51 company), and Russia (23 companies).

Rostechnologii (Rostec) State Corporation will sponsor the Russian exposition of military purpose products covering 443 sq. metres.

23 Russian organisations, including 6 MTC affiliated entities, such as Rostechnologii (Rostec) State Corporation, Rosoboronexport ОАО, Oboronprom United Industrial Corporation ОАО, Sukhoi Company ОАО, MiG Russian Aircraft Corporation ОАО, and FSUE Salut Gas-Turbine Engineering RPC, will participate in the Exhibition

Military goods will be presented by 8 Russian organisations, such as Rosoboronexport ОАО, Sukhoi Company ОАО, MiG Russian Aircraft Corporation ОАО, Irkut Corporation ОАО, Rosvertol ОАО, Ufa Engine Industrial Association ОАО, Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant ОАО, and Kaluga Research Radio Engineering Institute ОАО.

An official delegation headed by V.K. Dzirkaln, Deputy Director of FSMTC of Russia, will officially represent Russia at the Exhibition. A delegation of the Defence Ministry of the Russian Federation led by the Deputy Defence Minister Yu.I.Borisov will also participate in the Exhibition.

The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation expresses hope that the International Dubai Air Show 2013 will help develop and strengthen military and technical relations and cooperation between Russia and foreign partners.
