Welcome Address to participants of Conference “Latest technologies in creating competitive sea and river vessels and their funding facilities”

Dear Friends,

On behalf of the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation, I wish to welcome participants and guests of the Research Conference “Latest technologies in creating competitive sea and river vessels and their funding facilities”.
Issues of design and creation of reliable vessels of the world’s best standards, effective vessel repair and maintenance system, and training of top-class specialists in the Russian Federation proposed for the Conference agenda are highly relevant and among top priorities outlined by the Leadership of the State and federal enforcement authorities.
Russian naval vessels and arms have been always distinguished for their high reliability and adaptability to manufacture. Today, their advanced models are in demand on the international market. Foreign countries show the utmost interest in air-cushion vessels, corvettes, and diesel electric submarines.
I believe that by results of the work done by Sections and a constructive dialogue when discussing most hot issues challenging Russian ship-building teams and developers, proposals will be worked out, which will allow Russian exporters to further adequately represent Russian naval vessels in the world market of arms and military hardware.
I wish organizers, participants and visitors of the Conference a successful and fruitful work!
