International Helicopter Industry Exhibition 2012 to be held from 17 May to 19 May 2012 at the Expo Crocus International Exhibition Centre (Moscow)
The organizer is the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, and the sponsor is Russian Helicopter Systems ZAO. The Exhibition will feature helicopters, navigation equipment, land support, radar-tracking devices, equipment of helicopter sites, and communication facilities.
According to the organizer, Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation D.O.Rogozin, acting Industry and Trade Minister of the Russian Federation D.V.Manturov, Deputy Transport Minister of the Russian Federation V.M.Okulov are expected to take part in the opening ceremony.
The area of the exhibition:
in the Pavilion – 10 750 sq. metres;
Open air exposition – 500 sq. metres.
147 Russian companies and 53 foreign companies from 17 states are expected to participate in the Exhibition.
Military-purpose products (MPP) will be showcased by 14 Russian organisations, including Rosoboronexport OAO, PA UOMZ ОАО, OPK OBORONPROM ОАО, Vertolyoty Rossii ОАО, Rosvertol ОАО, UUAZ ОАО, Mil-named Moscow Helicopter Plant ОАО, Kamov ОАО, Aeropribor-Voskhod, FSUE GRPZ, etc.
50 MPP exhibits, including a final version of Mi-28NE combat helicopter, will be on display.
More than 100 officials from 56 countries, such as Afghanistan, Angola, Argentina, Bahrain, Brazil, Venezuela, Vietnam, Denmark, Egypt, India, Jordan, Canada, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Colombia, Cuba, Mongolia, Myanmar, Namibia, the Netherlands, Pakistan, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, the United States of America, Thailand, Turkmenistan, Uganda, Uruguay, France, Czech Republic, etc. are expected to visit the Exhibition.
More than 20 events are on the business program agenda.
The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation of Russia expresses hope that the International Helicopter Industry Exhibition 2012 will become worthy demonstration of achievements of Russian MIC and promote its products on the international market.
