On 19 - 25 July, Farnborough (the UK) will host the International Air show FARNBOROUGH INTERNATIONAL – 2010.
The Air Show is organized by the Society of British Aerospace Companies.
Thematic agenda of the Exhibition includes arms and military materiel of the Air Forces and AD systems, aircraft building, commercial aviation, space vehicles, and cutting-edge technologies.
The open-air static exposition will display more than 50 versions of air vehicles from the USA, Canada, the UK, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, etc. Along with passenger and sports planes, the Exhibition will demonstrate F-18, F-15E, F-16 warplanes, a Eurofighter, a C-27J military transport plane, fighting helicopters of the Italian company Agusta Vestland. Sukhoi Company will present a mid-range aircraft Superjet-100. One thousand three hundred and fifty participants from 52 countries are expected to participate in the Exhibition.
The Russian Technologies (Rostekhnologii) State Corporation is the Organizer of the Russian exposition. Fifty-nine Russian organizations will take part in the exhibition, 27 will present MPP (250 exhibits), including 8 MTC affiliated entities, such as Rosoboronexport, Sukhoi Company, MiG Russian Aircraft Building Corporation, Il Company, SRPE Bazalt, Tactical Missiles Corporation, PA UOMZ, and OPK OBORONPROM.
Models, replicas, posters, booklets, and video films will cover information on air vehicles, including Su-35 and MiG-35 multi-role fighters, Ka-52, Mi-35M fighting helicopters, a K-60 multi-role helicopter, a Mi-171Sh military transport helicopter, a Mi-26 heavy transport helicopter, as well as information on the onboard equipment, radio-electronic systems, aircraft engines, and aviation arms.
Space industry products will be presented by 7 leading enterprises affiliated with the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roskosmos), such as Korolev-named Space Corporation Energy, Khrunichev-named State Research and Production Space Centre, Lavochkin-named Scientific Production Association, State Research and Production Space Rocket Center TsSKB-Progress, Reshetnev-named Information Satellite Systems, Pilyugin-named Research and Production Centre of Automatics and Instrument Making, and Center for Ground-Based Space Infrastructure Facilities Operation (Tsenki).
The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation expresses hopes that the International Air Show FARNBOROUGH INTERNATIONAL – 2010 will enable to strengthen business relationships with foreign partners.
