The 9
th International Show “Engines – 2010” to be sponsored by the Industry and Trade Ministry of Russia will be held in Pavilion № 57 of the All-Russia Exhibition Center, 14 – 17 April 2010. Its key goals are to demonstrate achievements, exchange information, and outline the strategy for engine building development.

The Show will display engines for air and space vehicles, motor vehicles, tractors, water vessels, rolling stock, power installations, electric motors, wind turbines, repair and maintenance, fuel, motor oil and lubricants.

Total area will cover 5,300 sq m.

120 companies from 7 states (Belgium, Germany, Canada, Russia, the USA, Ukraine, and Czechia), engaged in business activities ranging from development, manufacture, sale, to operation and repair of different types of engines, are expected to participate in the Show. Among other major foreign companies are A. Ivchenko-named NPO Corporation (Ukraine), Pratt & Whitney (Canada), Kulite(USA), Siemens (Germany), Messe Berlin (Germany), etc. Foreign military products will be shown by the Motor Sich Company, Ukraine.

98 Russian companies, 17 of which will display more than 170 military exhibits, including 37 full-scale versions, will participate in the Show.

The key feature of the International Show “Engines – 2010” is to introduce products of such major integrated entities as the Rostekhnologii State Corporation, OAO OPK Oboronprom, OAO ODK Management Company, and FSUE MMPP Saliut, etc.

The Show will be used as forum for “Engineering & Research Engine-Building Congress – 2010”, including subject symposia to present more than 130 reports, and the Youth Forum “Aviation Future belongs to Russian Youth”. Expositions and events dedicated to the 65th anniversary of the Great Victory, with Veterans’ Day on April 15 as highlight, are among the priorities on the Show’s agenda.

The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation of Russia expresses hope that the International Show “Engines – 2010” will make it possible to strengthen military-technical cooperation and associated business ties between Russia and its foreign partners.
