On signing a cooperation agreement between the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation and the Federal Defense Order Service (Rosoboronzakaz)
26 March 2009, in the headquarters of FSMTC of Russia, the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation and the Federal Defense Order Service signed a cooperation agreement. The signing ceremony was attended by М.А. Dmitriev, FSMTC of Russia Director, A.V. Fomin, FSMTC of Russia First Deputy Director, K.N. Biriulin, FSMTC of Russia Deputy Director, S.A. Maev, Rosoboronzakaz Director, and V.B. Muravnik, Rosoboronzakaz Deputy Director.
The Agreement was signed for the first time and provides for development of cooperation on information, analytical and expert activities relating to top-priority financial, economic, and social transformations of the military and industrial complex, performance of the state order, and MPP export deliveries. Key areas of bilateral cooperation also address establishment of a mutually advantageous information exchange of available databases, preparation of joint research, information, and analytical publications, papers, conduct of joint workshop conferences, meetings, seminars, and business meetings.
The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation is confident that collaboration with the Federal Defense Order Service will facilitate further successful implementation of the state policy for the military-technical cooperation between the Russian Federation and foreign states.
