The International Integrated Safety & Security Exhibition (ISSE 2014) to be held from 20 to 23 May 2014 in Moscow on the territory of All-Russia Exhibition Centre (VDNH).

Organizers of the Exhibition are the Russian Emergencies Ministry, Interior Ministry, and FSMTC of Russia.

The Exhibition features: arms and technical devices of special task forces, technical devices of customs and border control services, technical devices of border protection, fire safety, rescue means, disaster medicine, ecological safety, industrial safety, nuclear and radiation safety, information and communications security, transport security.

On May 20, 2014 at 10.00 a.m., a solemn opening of the Exhibition will take place.

This year, the exposition will occupy more than 30,000 sq. meters, including 5,000 sq. meters of outdoor area.

According to the organizers, 348 Russian organizations and 21 foreign companies announced their participation.

The military-purpose products (165 exhibits), in the form of samples and promotional materials, will be showcased by 19 Russian organizations, including one military-technical cooperation affiliated entity – JSC “Shvabe – defense and protection”.

On May 23, 2014 at 11.00, for Russian and foreign guests the drilling range 179 of the Rescue Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry in Noginsky district (Moscow Region) will host integrated field interdepartmental emergency response exercises with the participation of the special task units of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and Interior Ministry.

Up to 200 special-purpose vehicles, 26 units of aircraft (helicopters, aircraft, hang-gliders and paragliders, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV)), more than 845 personnel of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and Interior Ministry will be involved. They will demonstrate the use of the UAV for population warning in case of emergency.

The business program involves 30 events on topics of the Exhibition, including presentations of the Interregional Operations Control Center of the constituent territories of the Russian Federation, meetings between the leaders of logistic services of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and Interior Ministry.

The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation expresses hope that the International Integrated Safety & Security Exhibition (ISSE 2014) will enable to strengthen business relations between Russia and its foreign partners.
