FARNBOROUGH INTERNATIONAL AIRSHOW 2012 will be held from 9 to 15 July 2012 in Farnborough (UK).

The Exhibition will feature arms and materiel of air force and air defence, aircraft building and equipment for civil aircraft, space vehicles, and advanced technologies.

The Exhibition is sponsored by the Society of British airspace companies, a national trade association of the UK and a voice of the British airspace industry.

Demo flight of Yak-130 light attack trainer aircraft, and Su-27 of the Russian Knights’ crew are expected to be the most exciting event of the Airshow. A Su-27 will be shown off at the static display.

This year, the Airshow will welcome 1 340 participants from 35 countries. The Russian Exposition will occupy 1 600 sq. metres in Pavilions 1 and 3.

The Airshow will be attended by 55 Russian companies, 19 of which will present information about military purpose products (114 exhibits, in total, including 18 final versions):

Aviation:

Su-35, Su-30МК2 multi-role fighters, Su-32 fighter bomber, materials about MiG combat aircraft – MiG-35D, MiG-29М2, MiG-29UB, MiG-29SМТ, MiG-29К, MiG-29KUB, MiG-31E, Yak-130 light attack trainer aircraft, Il-76MD military transport aircraft, A-50E airborne early warning and control aircraft;

Multiple purpose helicopters – Mi-171Sh military transport helicopter, Mi-35M combat transport helicopter, Mi-26NE combat helicopter, Mi-28NE combat helicopter, Ka-31 radar picket helicopter, and Ka-32 reconnaissance attack helicopter;

Export proposals for aircraft armaments, onboard equipment, and radio-electronic systems;

Anti-aircraft defence:

Buk-M2E air defence missile system, Tor-M2E air defence missile system, radar stations.

Russian MTC entities intend to hold many meetings and talks on military and technical cooperation with partners from Western Europe and other states worldwide.

The civilian sector will feature information about Tu-204 SМ aircraft, МS-21 aircraft mock-up. Sukhoi Superjet 100 of Aeroflot will be shown off at the static display and during demo flights.

The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation expresses hope that FARNBOROUGH INTERNATIONAL AIRSHOW 2012 will enable to strengthen business relations between Russia and foreign partners in the military and technical area.
