DSA 2012 Defence Services Asia Exhibition to be held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 16 April to 19 April 2012

The Exhibition will be held under patronage of the Defence Ministry of Malaysia. The Exhibition’s agenda includes arms and military vehicles for land, air forces, air defence forces, naval forces, special purpose units, advanced equipment and latest electronic warfare in land, air and sea, battlefield healthcare products/technology, training and simulation systems.

841 companies from 43 countries, and 200 delegations from 35 countries are expected to participate in the Exhibition.

The largest expositions will be presented by Malaysia (54 companies), the United States of America (40 companies), the United Kingdom (30 companies), Australia (26 companies), Germany (45 companies), Turkey (23 companies), France (30 companies), China (15 companies), Italy (19 companies), and the Republic of Korea (17 companies).

The display area will be 40 000 sq. metres.

Under aegis of Rostekhnologii State Corporation, 17 Russian companies, including
4 MTC entities, such as Rostekhnologii State Corporation, Rosoboronexport OAO, KBP OAO, and NPK Uralvagonzavod OAO will showcase their exhibits covering 264 sq. metres.


10 companies will present the information about MPP that are in demand in the Asia Pacific region (415 exhibits).

Aircraft:

Su-35, Su-30МК multi-role fighters, materials on MiG-family warplanes, such as MiG-29М, MiG-29М2, Il-114MP multi-purpose patrol helicopter, Yak-130 combat trainer,

different purpose helicopters – Mi-171Sh military transport helicopter, Mi-26 heavy transport helicopter, Mi-28NE combat helicopter, Mi-35 combat transport helicopter, Ka-52 multi-role all-weather combat helicopter,

Aircraft armaments, onboard equipment, radio-electronic systems;

Land forces:

Т-90S tank, BMPT tank support combat vehicle, BMP-3M infantry combat vehicle, BTR-80 and BTR-80A armoured personnel carriers, Khrizantema-S self-propelled anti-tank system, Kornet-E anti-tank missile system, Krasnopol-M2 guided weapon system, RPO-A, RPO-D, RPO-3, RPO PDM-A Shmel-M man-portable rocket launcher, andTOS-1 heavy flamethrower system;

Air defence:

Buk-M2E air defence missile system, Tor-M2E air defence missile system, Tunguska-M1 self-propelled air defence system, Pantsir-S1 air defence missile gun system, Igla-S portable air defence system;

Naval forces:

Tornado small rocket ship, Gepard-3.9 patrol ship, Mirage, Mangust patrol boats, Murena-E air-cushion landing craft;

636 project large diesel electric submarine, 677E project Amur-1650 diesel electric submarine;

Armaments systems, combat and technical systems to be mounted on underwater and surface ships.

During the Exhibition, FSMTC of Russia Deputy Director M.V. Petukhov will meet the Defence Secretary of Sri Lanka.

The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation of Russia considers DSA 2012 Defence Services Asia Exhibition as an important stage in developing and strengthening military-technical cooperation and business relations between Russia and foreign partners, and, above all, with the countries of the Asian Pacific region.
