The International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia 2014 to be held from 22 to 24 May 2014 in Moscow in the walls of the Crocus Expo international exhibition center.
The Exhibition features helicopters, navigation equipment, land support, radar-tracking devices, equipment of helicopter sites, control systems, navigation and communications.
The Organizing Committee on arrangements for the Exhibition is headed by the Minister for Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation D.V.Manturov. The Deputy Director of the FSMTC of Russia K.N.Biryulin is a member of the Organizing Committee on behalf of the FSMTC of Russia.
On May 22, 2014, a solemn opening of the Exhibition will take place. The Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation D.O.Rogozin, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Y.B.Slyusar, as well as the Moscow Mayor S.S.Sobyanin are expected to take part in it.
The total area of the exposition is 14,750 sq. meters.
98 Russian organizations and 48 foreign companies from 17 countries will participate in the Exhibition.
138 exhibits of military-purpose products (samples and promotion materials) will be showcased by 22 Russian organizations, including JSC “Rosoboronexport”, JSC SPA “Pribor”, JSC “PA “UOMP”, JSC “Shvabe – defense and protection”, JSC “OPK "Oboronprom”, JSC “Russian Helicopters”, JSC “Rosvertol”, JSC “Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant”, JSC “Mil Helicopters”, JSC “Kamov”, etc.
JSC “Russian Helicopters” will demonstrate Mi-28NE combat helicopter (form the stock of the Russian Ministry of Defence), as well as civil helicopters samples – Mi-38 medium-range multirole helicopter and Ansat light helicopter.
The invitations to visit the Exhibition were sent to Ambassadors and Military Attaches from various countries, including Cyprus, Zambia, Namibia, Malaysia, Kuwait, Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Yemen, Egypt, Afghanistan, Congo, Kenya, Mozambique, Sudan, Uganda, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Belarus, Belgium, Turkey, Spain, China, Italy, Vietnam, Mongolia, Korea, Thailand, India, Brazil, Columbia.
The business program involves more than 35 events.
The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation expresses hope that the International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia 2014 will enable to strengthen business ties between Russia and its foreign partners in the military-technical sphere.
