On International Exhibition of High-Tech Equipment and Weapons
VTTV – Omsk – 2011
6 - 9 July 2011, Omsk will be the venue of the International Exhibition of High-Tech Equipment and Weapons VTTV – Omsk-2011.
The State Corporation Rostekhnologii with support of the Government of the Omsk region is the organizer of the Exhibition. Subjects are military and dual use products, and innovative civil products produced under «dual technologies».
Among exhibitors are 78 Russian companies, including 4 MTC affiliated entities (State Corporation Rostekhnologii, Uralvagonzavod Research and Production Corporation OAO, FSUE Salyut Gas turbine building NPC, OPK OBORONPROM OAO) and 2 foreign companies - Rhode&Schwartz, and Dedotek Russia (Germany). Foreign companies will present civil purpose products.
19 Russian companies will present military products (138 brands), including 66 full-size models, such as armoured vehicles, self-propelled howitzers, radio stations, and sniper sights.
The Agenda of the Exhibition includes ground-breaking events:
Opening of a stock exchange of contracts;
Session of three Councils: Council at the plenipotentiary of the President of Russia in Siberian Federal Okrug, SFO Council of lawmakers, and Council of Inter-regional association;
Opening of a new Congress Hall;
Siberian mechanical engineering Show setting
The business agenda includes forums:
«High technologies as basis of innovative development of Russian regional economies»;
«Technologies. Innovations. Future»
Besides, the agenda includes thematic conferences, presentations, and Round Tables on developing manufacturing and research and development cooperation.
Officials of 6 foreign states plan to visit the Exhibition: Belgium, the United Kingdom, Germany, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, France, and Sweden.
The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation expresses hope that the International Exhibition of High-Tech Equipment and Weapons VTTV – Omsk-2011 will become a worthy demonstration of achievements of Russian MIC, and promote their products in the international market.
