The International Exhibition of arms, military vehicles and ammunitions «Russian Arms Exhibition. Nizhny Tagil - 2011» will be held 8 - 11 September 2011 in Nizhny Tagil, Sverdlovsk Oblast, at the State Exhibition Centre of FKP Nizhnetagil Institute of Metals Testing.
Minpromtorg of Russia is the Organizer of the Exhibition.
The Organising Committee of the Exhibition is headed by Industry and Trade Deputy Minister D.V. Manturov.
Exposition total area is 4 thousand sq. metres.
250 Russian organisations and 20 foreign companies from 7 states are expected to take part in the Exhibition: France, Italy, Sweden, Turkey, Belarus, Ukraine, and Kazakhstan.
Military-purpose products (MPP) will be showcased by 64 Russian organisations from 25 regions of Russia, including 9 MIC affiliated entities (MTC):
Rosoboronexport OAO, Moscow;
PVO Almaz-Antey Concern OAO, Moscow;
FSUE FNPC Pribor, Moscow;
FSUE GNPP Splav, Tula;
FSUE GNPP Bazalt, Moscow;
FSUE KBM, Kolomna, Moscow Oblast;
NPK Uralvagonzavod OAO, Yekaterinburg;
FSUE Yalamov-named PO UOMZ, Yekaterinburg;
FSUE NPZ, Novosibirsk.
In total 1,102 MPP models, including 213 full-scale versions, will be presented.
According to the Order of the President of the Russian Federation, 27 exhibits not included in the list of military-purpose products authorized for transfer to foreign customers will be shown.
The Exhibition will be a debut for BMD-4 airborne combat vehicle, BTR-82A wheeled armoured vehicle, armoured personnel carrier Tigr M, and Volk II, III modular armoured car vehicle, participating in the demo program, and new products of Iveco Company, Italy.
5 foreign companies will exhibit 26 MPP, including 15 full-scale versions.
According to the Organizer, 32 official delegations from 17 states confirmed their participation in the Exhibition.
Business program will offer more than 20 events. In particular, 9 September 2011, a Conference «Innovative development of enterprises – strengthening and expansion of foreign economic integration, import of technologies and capital» is on the agenda.
The Exhibition will host events devoted to the 75th anniversary of NPK Uralvagonzavod and 70th anniversary of Nizhnetagil tank engineering.
The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation expresses hope that the International Exhibition of arms, military vehicles and ammunitions «Russian Arms Exhibition. Nizhny Tagil - 2011» will be a high-profile demonstration of successes of Russian MIC enterprises and promote their products on the international market.
