FEDERAL SERVICEFOR MILITARY-TECHNICAL COOPERATION(FSMTC of Russia)
In October 27-30, 2009, in Moscow, the 13th International Exhibition of Means for Provision of State Security “INTERPOLITEX-2009” will be held at the All-Russia Exhibition Center.
The Exhibition is organized by the Russian Federation Interior Ministry and the Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation, which is the organizer of the exposition of military purpose products.
The Exhibition inauguration ceremony will take place in Pavilion 75 "Russia" (All-Russia Exhibition Centre) at 12.00 on 27 October 2009. The ceremony is expected to be attended by an official from the Russian Federation President’s Administration, Interior Minister, General of the Army R.G. Nurgaliev, First Deputy Director, Head of the Border Service of FSB V.E. Pronichev, First Deputy Interior Minister, Colonel General M.I. Sukhodolskiy, Deputy Interior Minister A.M. Smirny, and FSMTC Deputy Director K.N. Biriulin.
On 27 October 2009, at 14.00, a press conference will take place in the conference hall on the occasion of opening the International Exhibition of Means for Provision of State Security “Interpolitex – 2009”.
The total area of the exposition will be 10,000 square meters in the Pavilion
and 2,000 square meters in the open air. The main sections are “Special police equipment”, "Communication facilities", “Information protection”, and “Arms and gear”, and "Border".
Among the participants of the Exhibition there are 312 Russian organizations, including 23 defense industry enterprises (FSUE Rosoboronexport, SUE Instrument Making Design Office, FSUE PA Novosibirsk Instrument-Making Factory, OAO Sozvezdie Concern, OAO Vega Radio Engineering Concern, OAO Izhmash Concern, etc.), which will present 240 exhibits of military purpose products, including 37 full-scale mockups (basically, optical devices and systems).
Foreign products will be displayed on stands of 11 countries (Austria, Belarus, Belgium, Germany, Denmark, Italy, Canada, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, Taiwan, and Ukraine). Military-purpose products (optical aiming and viewing devices) will be demonstrated by OAO Vavilov-named BelOMO-MMZ (Belarus).
The event will be widely reported in mass media, including TV channels "Zvezda", and "NTV", and radio stations “Ekho Moskvy”, “CitiFM”, "Autoradio", and “Militia’s Wave”. In total, the Exhibition will be covered by more than 30 mass media.
On 29 October, the training center of the Interior Ministry will be used for demonstrative exercises of special units of the Interior Ministry together with the presentation of special and armored vehicles.
The “Interpolitex-2009” organizers made a special accent on the business agenda, including 18 events, such as conferences, seminars, round table talks, and presentations.
The Federal Service for Military and Technical Cooperation of Russia expresses hope that the 13th International Exhibition of Means for Provision of State Security “INTERPOLITEX-2009” will allow to strengthen military and technical cooperation and business relations between Russia and its foreign partners.
