On MILEX 2011 International Exhibition of Arms and Materiel
24 - 27 May 2011, Minsk will hold the Sixth International Exhibition of Arms and Materiel MILEX 2011 organized by the Belarus State Military-Industrial Committee.
The opening ceremony will take place at 12.00 on 24 May. The same day, the Russian delegation headed by First Deputy Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Fomin A.V. will arrange a press conference at the Conference Hall of the Exhibition Pavilion.
During 3 days, the National Exhibition Centre BelExpo will display unmanned aircraft systems, fire control systems and other strategic projects under the 2011 – 2015 Development Program of the Belarus State Military-Industrial Committee. The exhibition program includes display of materiel capacities at the army range near Borisov.
115 companies from 5 states will take part in the exhibition, such as Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakhstan and Armenia. The Exhibition will be visited by official delegations from Angola, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, China, Sudan, Sultanate of Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.
The State Corporation Rostekhnologii is the organizer of the Russian exhibition covering 292 sq. metres indoors, and 25 sq. metres outdoors. 5 MIC affiliated entities, such as the State Corporation Rostekhnologii, FSUE Rosoboronexport, SUE Instrument Making Design Bureau, Uralvagonzavod Production and Research Corporation OAO,and PVO Almaz-Antey Concern OAO will participate in the International Exhibition of Arms and Materiel MILEX 2011.
12 Russian enterprises will display military purpose products. The Oboronitelnye Sistemy (Defense Systems) Company will offer the information about the PT1U diagnostics workshop as part of 48SH6U mobile repair base.
The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation expresses hope that the International Exhibition of Arms and Materiel MILEX 2011 will make it possible to strengthen military and technical cooperation and associated business ties between Russia and its foreign partners.
