Defexpo India 2010, the sixth (since 2000) in the series of biennial Land and Naval Defense Systems Exhibition, will be held at Pragati Maidan, New Delhi, from February 15 to 18, 2010. Its organizer is the Confederation of the Indian Industry. This year, 306 companies from 29 states are expected to visit the Exhibition, among them, there are Defense Ministers of Belarus and Italy, and more than 30 delegations of foreign states.

The Russian enterprises will take part in the Exhibition according to Order of FSMTC of Russia dated 30 May 2008 № 80-od.

The area of the Russian exposition is 423 sq. meters; its Organizer is the Rostekhnologii State Corporation.

31 Russian enterprises will exhibit their products at the Exhibition, including 6 entities of military-technical cooperation (Rostekhnologii State Corporation, FSUE Rosoboronexport, OAO Concern PVO Almaz
-Antey, CDB ME Rubin, FSUE GNPP Splav, and SUE KBP). Military-purpose products will be displayed by 14 enterprises.

In total, Russian enterprises will display 495 military-purpose exhibits, of which 26 are full-scale versions (route survey system, portable reconnaissance and fire control radar, Aistenok portable
mortar-locating radar, optical and collimator sights, high explosive rounds, “President-C" optoelectronic systems for aircraft and helicopter protection).

For the first time at the Exhibition in India, there will be provided information about ADMS
“Buk-M2E”, and AAMS “Tor-M2E”, KOMAR turret mount for man-pack anti-aircraft missile systems of “Igla” type, and SNAR-10 mobile ground artillery reconnaissance radar.

Leadership of FSMTC of Russia and FSUE Rosoboronexport will hold a briefing at 11.00 AM, 16 February.

The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation of Russia expresses hope that the 6
th International Land and Naval Defense Systems Exhibition “Defexpo India 2010” will make it possible to strengthen military-technical cooperation and associated business ties between Russia and its foreign partners.
