25 - 29 October 2010, the Exhibition grounds in Le Bourget (France) will host the International Naval Defense & Maritime EURONAVAL – 2010 organized by the French Naval Industry Group (GICAN). The Exhibition will feature shipbuilding, warships and equipment, maritime aircraft, control systems, telecommunications, navigation equipment, and training equipment.
Up to date, 34 states, such as Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brazil, the UK, Germany, Greece, Denmark, India, Spain, Italy, Israel, Canada, Colombia, Lebanon, Libya, Luxembourg, Malaysia, New Zealand, the Netherlands, Norway, the United Arab Emirates, Poland, the USA, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, France, Finland, Chile, Sweden, Switzerland, and South Korea have confirmed their participation the Exhibition.
Three hundred and seventy companies, including ROLLS-ROYCE (the UK), EADS (Germany), BRAHMOS AEROSPACE (India), FINMECCANICA (Italy), IAI/ELTA SYSTEMS LTD (Israel), and RAYTHEON COMPANY (USA) have submitted official applications for the participation.
The largest pavilions will be occupied by 9 countries:
France (188 companies), Germany (23 companies), Italy (24 companies), Russia (22 companies), the USA (17 companies), the UK (17 companies), Norway (16 companies), the Netherlands (16 companies), and Denmark (9 companies).
For the first time, participants of EURONAVAL – 2010 can demonstrate their products and equipment in operation in the in artificial pool.
Exposition of over 14,000 sq. m will be deployed in Pavilions and in the open air.
Russia will take part in the Exhibition for the seventh time.
The Russian Technologies (Rostekhnologii) State Corporation is the Organizer of the Russian exposition.
Twenty-two Russian organizations plan to take part in the Exhibition, including 3 MTC affiliated entities (Russian Technologies (Rostekhnologii) State Corporation, Rosoboronexport, OAO Admiralty Shipyards).
Fourteen Russian organizations will present information about 163 exhibits of military purpose products, such as patrol boat of Sobol 12200 project, a patrol boat of Katran 20970 project, an air cushion landing craft of Murena-E 12061E project, equipment to maintain electromagnetic compatibility of radio electronic equipment - a "Sub-heading-24E" product, Kashtan-M Naval Air-Defense Missile/Gun System, АК-630М 30 mm automatic gun mount, and Palma Naval Anti-Aircraft Artillery System.
A replica of a 3S90E.1 modular launcher for a Shtil air defense missile system will be shown for the first time by ОАО Dolgoprudnenskoye Research and Production Enterprise.
A business program of the exhibition includes a variety of events, including a Conferences «Navy in 2040» and «Maritime security in France and Europe».
The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation considers participation in the International Naval Defense & Maritime EURONAVAL – 2010 as important stage in promoting and strengthening business relationships between Russia and foreign partners in the military and technical cooperation.
