14 - 18 May 2008, in Moscow, the All-Russia Exhibition Center will stage a debut International Show Integrated Safety & Security Exhibition (ISSE-2008).
The International Show Integrated Safety & Security Exhibition (ISSE-2008) is a joint event of Russian law enforcement agencies – the Emergencies Ministry, the Interior Ministry, and the FSMTC of Russia – to highlight all core public areas designed to sustain a comprehensive security and become a forum of a professional dialogue and exchange of expertise on security.
The Emergencies Ministry, the Interior Ministry, and the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation are the organizers of the Exhibition.
Thematic sections of the Exhibition:
Arms and facilities of special purpose forces;
Border protection facilities;
Nuclear and radiation safety;
information and communication security.
This year, more than 15,000 sq. m will present products of more than 300 Russian enterprises from 66 regions and 7 companies from 5 states (Ukraine, Germany, Belarus, Poland, and Japan).
8 Russian defense enterprises will showcase military purpose products:
FSUE Rosoboronexport, Moscow;
FSUE GNPP Bazalt, Moscow;
ZАО Barnaul Cartridge Plant, Barnaul;
ОАО Arzamassky Machine-Building Plant, Arzamas;
ОАО Electrosignal, Voronezh;
ОАО Ryazan Radio Plant, Ryazan;
ОАО Yaroslavl Radio Plant, Yaroslavl;
GU NPO Special equipment and communication of the Interior Ministry
16 May, the test range of the Rescue Centre of the Emergencies Ministry in Noginsk, Moscow Region, will be used for joint exercises of special units of the Emergencies Ministry, the Interior Ministry, and the Federal Security Service.
The business agenda includes conferences, thematic seminars and round tables.
168 diplomatic representatives from 52 states, including from Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Yemen, the United Arab Emirates, Syria, Iran, Kuwait, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, Bangladesh, Vietnam, China, Mongolia, Republics Koreas, Australia, Laos, Democratic People's Republic of Korea, Israel, etc. received accreditation for participation in the Show.
Official opening of the Show will take place on 14 May 2008 (11.45, Pavilion № 55).
The FSMTC of Russia expresses hope that the 1st Integrated Safety & Security Exhibition (ISSE-2008) will become an effective vehicle in promoting public security.
