Results of MAKS 2013 International Aerospace Show
11th International Aerospace Show MAKS 2013 with participation of 850 organisations (576 – Russian, 274 – foreign) was held in Zhukovsky, Moscow Oblast, from 27 August to 1 September.
Total exposition area was 25 711 sq. m.
According to Order of FSMTC of Russia № 132-od dated 21.08.2013, 70 new samples of military aviation vehicles and arms not included in the list of military purpose products (MPP) not authorized for transfer to foreign customers would be shown during the exhibition to demonstrate recent achievements of the national military-industrial complex.
32 licences to provide participation of the foreign companies were issued for MPP import from 15 countries (Belgium, Germany, Israel, India, Iran, Spain, Italy, China, the United Arab Emirates, Serbia, the USA, Ukraine, France, Czech Republic, and Switzerland).
FSMTC of Russia and entities of military and technical cooperation (MTC) held about 200 meetings and negotiations with foreign military officials and manufacturers, where they discussed MTC between the Russian Federation and foreign states, and its further prospects, and signed a number of final documents.
For great personal contribution to the development of military-technical cooperation between the Russian Federation and foreign states and in connection with the 60th anniversary of the system of the military and technical cooperation between the Russian Federation and foreign states, on 29 August 2013, the Leadership of FSMTC of Russia awarded members of command and flight crews of «Russian Knights», "Swifts", «Falcons of Russia» and "Golden Eagles" aerobatics teams of the Ministry of Defence of Russia with «For Distinctions» Medals of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation.
