The Russian arms and military equipment manufacturers are exhibiting their products at INDO DEFENCE 2014, taking place in Jakarta (Indonesia).

Since 2008, the Russian Federation has taken part in INDO DEFENCE, where it exhibits the most advanced products for all kinds of the Armed Forces of Indonesia and other countries of that region.

14 enterprises, including 6 military-technical cooperation affiliated entities (JSC “Rosoboronexport” (Moscow), OJSC “RPC "Uralvagonzavod” (Nizhny Tagil), “Almaz-Antey” Corp. (Moscow), Company “Sukhoi” (Moscow), JSC “KBP” (Tula), JSC “USC” (Moscow)), are demonstrating 542 exhibits of military-purpose products, including 32 samples. The samples, mockups and other promotional materials of the Russian stands involve Su-35 super-maneuverable multirole fighter, Su-32 fighter-bomber, Il-76MD military transport aircraft, Mi-171Sh military transport helicopter, Mi-35M transport combat helicopter. Foreign partners are mostly interested in BMP-3M infantry combat vehicle, Vena self-propelled automated artillery system, Project 636 ocean-going diesel-electric submarine, Project 677E Amur-1650 diesel-electric submarine, Amur-950 diesel-electric submarine. The Yaroslav Mudry frigate, in service with the Pacific Fleet of the Russian Navy, is expected to arrive at the port to demonstrate the Russian flag.

According to the organizers, official delegations from 26 countries will visit the Exhibition.

The Russian delegation at INDO DEFENCE 2014 is headed by the Deputy Director of the FSMTC of Russia Vladimir Drozhzhov. JSC “Rosoboronexport” and other military-technical cooperation affiliated entities plan to hold meetings and talks with the representatives of military-political agencies and industrial companies of Indonesia and other countries of the Asian-Pacific Region.

The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC of Russia) is a federal executive authority, which performs control and supervision functions in the sphere of military-technical cooperation between the Russian Federation and foreign states in accordance with its national legislation.
