EURONAVAL 2012 International Maritime and Naval Defence Exhibition will be held in Le Bourget (France) Exhibition Center from 22 October to 26 October 2012. Its organizer is the French Naval Industry Group, GICAN. The exhibition features shipbuilding, naval equipment, marine aircraft, control systems, telecommunications, navigating equipment, and simulators.
This year, 400 exhibitors from 32 countries, including 76 official delegations from 60 countries will take part in the exhibition.
The area of the Russian exposition is 333 sq. m, its organizer is the Rostechnologii State Corporation.
35 Russian organisations will take part in an exhibition, including 3 military-technical cooperation affiliated entities (Rostechnologii State Corporation, Rosoboronexport OAO, Admiralteyskiye Verfi OAO). 14 Russian organisations will present the information about 156 exhibits of military-purpose products: 12418 project missile boat, 12300 project Scorpion missile-artillery boat, 20970 project Katran patrol boat, 12200 project Sobol patrol boat, 20382 project Tigr corvette, Gepard-3.9 class frigate, 21632 project Tornado small missile ship, 677E project Amur 1650 diesel electric submarine, Amur 950 diesel electric submarine, Club-M, Club-К, Club-U missile systems, Varyag integrated multi-purpose ship's (formation) control system, land-based automated control system of Bal-E mobile coastal missile system with anti-ship missiles, ship missile system with Yakhont antiship cruise missile, and coastal radar for detection of sea surface targets, etc.
Besides, Tranzas ZAO will present an electronic simulator designed for small-arms training and crew teambuilding.
The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation views participation in EURONAVAL 2012 International Maritime and Naval Defence Exhibition as key event in developing and strengthening business relations between Russia and foreign partners in the military-technical cooperation.
