16 - 20 June, EUROSATORY 2008 International Land, Airland, Homeland Defense Exhibition will be held in France.

The exhibition has been held since 1992 under the patronage of French MoD in Paris-Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre, and ir is one of the largest dedicated exhibitions held in Europe and worldwide. COGES - GICAT acts as the organizer. A thematic agenda of the exhibition includes arms and vehicles for land forces, AD systems, computer facilities, training gear, telecommunications, and rear logistics. Upgrading of old models is among focal areas. Besides, the exhibition will introduce dual use products, and products intended for humanitarian aid, peace-keeping operations, security, and fight against terrorism.

Russia traditionally has participated in «EUROSATORY since 1996. This year, the Russian exposition combines 14 enterprises presenting information about 500 MPP brands:

FSUE «Mechanical engineering Design Office;

Participants and visitors of the Russian exposition can familiarize with properties of the Russian weapons, its advantages, high combat efficiency, and reliability.

To coordinate and supervise participation of Russian defense enterprises, a Russian delegation was formed under the leadership of FSMTC of Russia Deputy Director M.V. Petukhov, composed of officials from state authorities of the Russian Federation, and enterprises of the military-industrial complex.

The FSMTC of Russia views « FARNBOROUGH INTERNATIONAL – 2008» as important stage in development and strengthening of the military-technical cooperation, and associated business ties between Russia and its foreign partners.
