The 15th session of the Russian-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation

The First Deputy Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC of Russia) Andrey Boytsov participated in the 15th session of the Russian-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation (further – MTC), held in Minsk.

The members of the Russian and Belarusian parts of the Commission, representatives of ministries, agencies, organizations of the two countries took part in the event. The delegations discussed the areas of further expansion of interaction in the military-technical sphere, shared their opinions on pressing issues of the agenda.

Particularly, the Parties reviewed the progress of the implementation of the decisions made during the 14th session of the Russian-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation, as well as pressing issues arising during the bilateral interaction and the way of their settlement.

Also, the issues related to the improvement of the legal base of the bilateral military-technical cooperation, in particular the progress of preparation for the signing of the Agreement between the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus on Organization of Defence Products Standardization, were discussed.

Based on the results of the 15th session of the Russian-Belarusian Intergovernmental Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation its Co-Chairmen – the First Deputy Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC of Russia) Andrey Boytsov and the First Deputy Chairman of the State Military-Industrial Committee of the Republic of Belarus Igor Bykov – signed the final Protocol of the joint session.
