The first Bahrain International Airshow
2010 will take place in the Kingdom of Bahrain, 21-23 January 2010. To demonstrate civil, military and business aircraft, a static lineup will be set up on the Sakhir Airbase.

The exhibition will be hosted by His Majesty The King, Shaikh Hamad Bin Isa Al Khalifa, with support of the Bahrain Ministry of Civil Aviation. The Airshow program includes demonstration flights and daily displays. 40 companies from Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, the USA, the UK, France, Belgium, and Germany are expected to participate in the event.

Among the registered participants, there are Western firms, such as Rolls-Royce, BAE Systems, TAG Aeronautics Ltd, Bell Helicopter Textron Inc, Cessna, and Bahrain Aerospace.

3 Russian entities of the military-technical cooperation (Rostekhnologii State Corporation, FSUE Rosoboronexport, and ОАО Sukhoi Company) will take part in the Show.

Rostekhnologii State Corporation is the Organizer of the Russian exposition, including information about Su-35 and MiG-35 multi-role fighters, a Yak-130 combat trainer, MiG-29SMT, MiG-31E, and Su-30MK2 aircraft, Il-76MF military transport aircraft, Ka-52, Mi-35M combat helicopters, Mi-26, Mi-171Sh transport helicopters, onboard equipment, radio-electronic systems, and a full-scale version of a Su-27SKM upgraded fighter.

The Russian delegation will be headed by First Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation V.A. Zubkov.

The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation of Russia expresses hope that the first Bahrain International Airshow 2010 will make it possible to strengthen military-technical cooperation and associated business ties between Russia and its foreign partners, and, first of all, Middle-East states.
