Russian MTC entities
The Russian Federation is represented in the world arms market by entities of military and technical cooperation, such as the Rostekhnologii state high-tech development, production and export promotion corporation, state intermediary agency Rosoboronexport JSC and other organizations, which are MPP developers and manufacturers entitled to carry out foreign trade in respect of military purpose products.
At that, the Rostekhnologii state corporation is entitled to carry out advertising, exhibition and marketing activities, participate in organising and conducting shows (demonstrations) of military products, the state intermediary agency is entitled to supply the whole range of MPP exportable from the Russian Federation, and other MTC entities are empowered to export spare parts, units, devices, completing items of special, training and support materiel, engineering documentation to supplied military purpose products, carry on work relating to certification and benchmarking, service life extension, maintenance, repairs (including all upgrading not involving R&D work), disposal and other work providing all-inclusive service for supplied military purpose products and the training of foreign specialists to carry out such work.
Organizations, MPP developers and manufacturers who are not empowered to independent foreign trade activity in respect of MPP supply their products to the world market through the state intermediary agency.
