6th IMDS 2013 (International Maritime Defence Show) to be held in St.-Petersburg (Russia) from 3 July to 7 July 2013
The exhibition will be opened officially on 4 July. Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation D.O.Rogozin will take part in the ceremony.
Official delegation of the Federal Agency for Military-Technical Cooperation is headed by Deputy Director of FSMTC of Russia V.K.Dzirkaln. Director of FSMTC of Russia A.V.Fomin will take part in a number of exhibition events.
More than 400 Russian and foreign companies will take part in IMDS 2013, a total area of the exhibition is 14800 sq. m.
Minpromtorg of Russia is the organizer of the exhibition.
In open spaces of the exhibition, there will be exhibited:
Ka-52 all-weather combat helicopter;
Ka-31 radar helicopter;
Ka-28 naval anti-submarine helicopter;
BAL-E mobile coastal missile system;
Club-K container missile system
36 ships, boats and vessels available with the Navy, the Border Guards Service of FSB of Russia and enterprises, participants of the Show, and invited ships of foreign Naval Forces will be displayed at moorings of the marine terminal and water area.
Nine naval artillery installations and samples of small arms will be shown in operation for official foreign delegations and representatives of mass media at the Rzhevka shooting range of the Ministry of Defence of Russia.
Aerobatics teams «Russian Knights»,"Swifts", and "Russ" will perform their skills for spectators and specialists every day during the exhibition.
The International Conference “PLM FORUM IMDS-2013 – Shipbuilding Product Lifecycle Management. Informational support” will take place on 5 July.
Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation expresses hope that International Maritime Defence Show will be a success, and wishes all participants productive work and establishment of new mutually beneficial relations.
