The Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation Alexander Fomin will be the head of the Russian delegation during the 10th jubilee International Aviation & Aerospace Exhibition (Airshow China 2014) to be held from 11 to 16 November 2014 in Zhuhai (China).

Airshow China 2014 has been held since 1996 in every even-number year and is the largest international aviation and aerospace exhibition in that region. Traditionally, it features military and civil aviation equipment, aerospace and aviation materiel and equipment, arms and military equipment for landing forces, fire control systems, air defence systems and radars, navigation equipment for airports.

This year, the total area of the exposition is 23,000 sq. meters.

513 foreign companies from 22 countries announced their participation.

The largest expositions will be presented by China (266 companies), the United States of America (77 companies), Russia (47 companies), and France (33 companies).

According to the organizers, the visitors will see 120 samples of military and civil aircraft during flight demonstrations and at a static display.

A new Russian Su-35S super-maneuverable multirole fighter will be demonstrated in the aerobatic flight program of the Exhibition. Also, daily demonstration flights are scheduled with participation of the Russkiye Vityazi (Russian Knights) aerobatic team of the Russian Ministry of Defence and the following aerobatic demonstration teams: The Black Eagles of the Air Force of the Republic of Korea, The Knights of the UAE Air Force, The August 1st of the Chinese Air Force.

State Corporation “Rostec” is the organizer of the Russian exposition. The number of companies participating at Airshow China has been increasing from year to year. For example, the total area of the Russian exposition, in comparison with 2012, has been increased by 4 percent, the number of Russian participants – by 34 percent, and the number of MPP exhibits – by 113 percent.

This time, the Russian exposition (900 sq. meters) will include stands of 47 Russian organizations, 18 of which will showcase military-purpose products, including 8 military-technical cooperation affiliated entities: JSC “Rosoboronexport”, “Almaz-Antey” Corp., JSC “OPK "Oboronprom”, JSC “Russian Helicopters”, JSC “Tactical Missiles Corporation”, Company “Sukhoi”, FSUE “GTE RPC “Salut”, JSC “PA "UOMP”. Totally, about 300 exhibits of military-purpose products, including 21 samples, will be showcased.

The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation (FSMTC of Russia) is a federal executive authority, which performs control and supervision functions in the sphere of military-technical cooperation between the Russian Federation and foreign states in accordance with its national legislation.
