From 19 to 22 May 2009, the Moscow All-Russian Expo Center will hold the International Salon “Integrated Safety 2009”. Among the sponsors are the Emergencies Ministry, the Interior Ministry, and FSMTC of Russia.
The total exposition area will be 18,000 sq. m of which 5000 sq. m are outdoor sites.

Armament and Technical Capabilities of Special Operations Forces;
Technical Capabilities of Border and Customs Control;
Security Facilities;
Fire Safety;
Rescue Facilities;
Emergency Medicine;
Environmental Safety;
Industrial Safety;
Nuclear and Radiation Safety;
Information and Communication Safety; and
Transport Safety.
The Salon’s goal is to render assistance in promoting Russian specialty and military equipment in the local and international markets, as well as to feature integrated capabilities of Russian law enforcement agencies to provide security for the state and its citizens in all domains.
352 Russian and foreign companies will showcase 30,000 exhibits.
Russian participants number 341. Military-purpose products will be presented by 6 companies, such as (FSUE Rosoboronexport, Moscow; ОАО Elektroavtomatika, Stavropol; FSUE PO Ellektropribor, Penza; Moscow Design Bureau Kompas, FSUE Krasnoarmeysky NII Mekhanizatsii, Krasnoarmeysk, GU NPO, and the Russian Interior Ministry. 135 MPP exhibits of which 20 are full-scale specimens will be displayed Among them are a satellite radio navigation system of a SU-30MK2 fighter, equipment for telephone and digital information ciphering and cryptographic protection E-11C, Т-237Е, small arms, close combat facilities, etc.
11 foreign manufacturers from 10 countries (Spain, Republic of Korea, Latvia, Croatia, Belarus, Ukraine, France, Japan, Germany, and Finland) will advertise their products.
The International Salon “Integrated Safety 2009” will be attended by delegations from Indonesia, China, India, Malaysia, the United Arab Emirates, Jordan, Venezuela, Egypt, Algeria, Libya, Angola, Finland, Syria, Greece, Uzbekistan, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Iran, Bulgaria, Cuba, Cyprus, Nigeria, Armenia, Turkey, Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Estonia, the USA, Canada, etc.
Business agenda will include about 40 conferences, seminars, round tables, among them:
XIV International Research and Practice Conference on population and territories protection from emergencies «Current challenges in humanitarian operations during emergencies and armed conflicts»;
Seminar “State regulations for technical policies in the area of anti-terrorist and anti-criminal protection of facilities”;
Seminar “Trends in developing firmware systems for ensuring public security of Russian Federation cities” (Firmware system “Safe City”)”;
“Current challenges in fire safety” - section “Fire suppression and people rescue”, etc.
About 200 mass media representatives are expected to provide coverage of the Salon.
22 May 2009, a test range No 179 of the Rescue Center of the Russian Emergencies Ministry (Noginsk, Moscow Oblast) will be used for international demo field exercises involving special units of the Russian Emergencies Ministry and the Interior Ministry, which will show their skills to coordinate joint actions in different emergencies, including actions of firemen and rescuers, cinologists, extracting road accident victims from cars, and extreme driving master classes.
The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation hopes that the International Salon “Integrated Safety 2009” will help strengthen military and technical cooperation and associated business relations between Russia and foreign counterparts.
