On International Aviation Exhibition Singapore AIRSHOW – 2012
14 - 19 February 2012, Singapore will play host to the International Aviation Exhibition Singapore AIRSHOW – 2012. Its organizer is the Civil Aviation Department and the Agency for military sciences and technologies of Singapore.
The Exhibition Agenda includes aerospace vehicles, equipment for airports, arms and ammunition, combat support and management, biometrics, communication equipment and systems, radar stations, regimentals, environment control devices, security systems, software, training equipment and simulators.
820 companies from 35 foreign states are expected to participate in the Exhibition. The largest expositions will be presented by the United States of America (136 companies), the Republic of Singapore (101 companies), Australia (32 companies) and the United Kingdom (29 companies).
For the first time, unmanned systems, air, land devices and submersibles, integrated land defense technologies will be displayed in the specialised pavilions.
The State Corporation Rostekhnologii is the organizer of the Russian exposition.
Expositions of 11 Russian organisations will cover the area of 273 sq. metres.
Military purpose products (22 Exhibits) will be shown by Sukhoi Company ОАО, Irkut Corporation ОАО, Vertolyoty Rossii ОАО, Rosvertol ОАО, Ulan-Ude Aviation Plant ОАО, Kamov ОАО, and Mil-named Moscow Helicopter Plant ОАО.
ОАК ОАО Pavilion will exhibit models:
Su-30МК2 multirole aircraft, Su-32 bomber fighter, Su-35 multirole super-maneuverable fighter, Yak-130 combat trainer, and also models of civil aircraft: Sukhoi Superjet 100, МS-21-200, МS-21-300 and Be-200;
Vertolyoty Rossii ОАО will exhibit models:
Ka-28 shipborne anti-submarine naval helicopter, Ka-29 naval combat transport helicopter, Ka-31 radar picket helicopter, Мi-35 combat transport helicopter, Ми-171SH combat transport helicopter, Su-39 upgraded attack aircraft with Kopio radar target system.
A model of Be-200 amphibian will be shown in the open air (Beriev-named TANTK ОАО).
A cabin model of МS-21 medium-range passenger aircraft (NPK Irkut ОАО) will be shown in a separate pavilion.
The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation expresses hope that participation of Russia in the Singapore AIRSHOW – 2012 will promote stronger cooperation and business ties in MTC with foreign partners.
