26 - 29 October 2010, the 14th International Exhibition of Means for Provision of State Security INTERPOLITEX-2010 will be held at the All-Russia Exhibition Center in Moscow.
The exhibition is organized by the Interior Ministry, the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation, and the Federal Security Service.
The Exposition will occupy 14,000 sq. m indoors and 5,000 sq. m in the open air.
The opening ceremony will take place at 12.00 in Pavilion No 75 "Russia" (All-Russia Exhibition Centre) on 26 October 2010.
Two hundred and seventy-four Russian organizations will take part in the Exhibition. Military purpose products will be demonstrated by 25 defense enterprises (Rosoboronexport, Russian Technologies (Rostekhnologii) SC, SUE KBP, FSUE PA NPZ, OAO FSUE Almaz Central Marine Design Bureau, ZАО R.Е.Т. Kronstadt, etc.), offering information about more than 300 brand names of military purpose products, and 66 full-scale versions (basically, optical devices and systems).
The Interior Ministry of Russia and the Border Service of FSB of Russia will acquaint visitors with a number of new developments, including the latest videoscope systems, mobile dactyloscopic registration systems, patrol vehicles, and models of armored vehicles equipped with advanced complete sets of equipment and munitions.
Seventeen companies from 9 countries (Germany, Denmark, Israel, China, the Netherlands, the United Arab Emirates, France, Switzerland, and Belarus) will take part in the Exhibition. 9 will show models of military purpose products.
A key agenda item is the business program «ANTI-TERROR: INTEGRATED APPROACH». The CIS Antiterrorist Centre is the chief coordinator.
The demonstration program features special purpose equipment and arms.
29 October 2010, special tactical exercises of units of law-enforcement bodies and internal troops of the Interior Ministry demonstrating the last generation versions of special purpose equipment and arms will be held at the range of Geodesiya R&D Institute (Krasnoarmeysk, Moscow Region).
It is expected that the Exhibition will be visited by more than 200 representatives from 58 countries.
The Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation expresses hope that participation of Russia in the 14th International Exhibition of Means for Provision of State Security INTERPOLITEX-2010 will promote stronger cooperation in MTC and associated business ties with foreign partners.
