On progress of completion for the Golden Idea National Prize in 2012

At present, FSMTC of Russia is at the completion stage of receiving applications for the twelfth competition for the Golden Idea National Prize, one of the long-standing and prestigious awards in the military-technical cooperation.

Procedure and terms for the competition in 2012 (by 2011 results) are posted on FSMTC of Russia site.

The Organizers of the Competition have invited for the Competition more than 400 organisations, among which are military-technical cooperation-affiliated entities, integrated structures, research-and-production associations, factories and research establishments. At the same time, participation of the enterprises with private capital, in which respect the Leadership of the Military-Industrial Commission at the Government of the Russian Federation pursues a public-private partnership policy, has been expedient as never before.

The Award’s Organizational Committee will appreciate a creative approach to presentation of materials, including opinions of exporters and foreign customers, mass-media publications, photos and design maps disclosing specific deliverables of nominees aimed at promoting Russian military-purpose products on traditional and new arms markets. The Competition is an excellent opportunity for any enterprise to make its name at the national level, and present a creative team and best employees. The Competition is not financed from the state budget, and entrance fees for participation are not charged. The end date of receipt of applications is 1 November 2012.

Having reviewed and assessed received applications, the experts’ team is formed from the Staff members of the Military-Industrial Commission at the Government of the Russian Federation, the Defence Ministry of Russia, FSMTC of Russia, The Industry and Trade Ministry of Russia, the Russian Space Agency, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Leagues of Assistance to defence enterprises, the Rostechnologii State Corporation, and Rosoboronexport OAO. Members of the experts’ team starting to work since 7 November 2012 will be provided by the Service with all necessary conditions to review materials during hours convenient for them.

The Award Organizing Committee will hold its session for determining winners by 5 December 2012.

Awarding of the Award winners with diplomas of FSMTC of Russia and memorable prizes will take place on 15 December 2012 in the President-Hotel. A solemn ceremony will be attended by the Vice-Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation supervising the military-industrial complex, and the Director of the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation.
