DEFEXPO INDIA 2012 International Exhibition to open on 29 March
DEFEXPO INDIA 2012, the seventh Land, Naval and Internal Security Systems Exhibition, will be held in New Delhi from March 29 to April 1, 2012.
According to the organizers of the Exhibition, in 2012, 378 companies from 30 states are expected to participate in the Exhibition.
The Exhibition will be organized by the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) with support of the Government of India and the Defence Ministry of India.
Rostekhnologii State Corporation is the organizer of the Russian exposition.
The unprecedented event in the recent history of exhibitions with the participation of the Russian Federation is a debut of the modernised life-size model T-90S tank. The Uralvagonzavod Company will display its latest development during daily presentations.
For the first time, DEFEXPO INDIA 2012 will feature:
- 9F676-1 crew classroom trainer for Pantsir-S1 air defence missile and cannon system on wheeled chassis (KBP OAO);
- Trainer of a gunner and a commander of armaments controlled from the fire control system and by Kornet E anti-tank missile system (KBP OAO);
- modernized field trainer for gunners of Igla-S portable air defence system (FSUE KBM);
- 1PN93-2AK night vision sight for advanced automatic weapon (PA NPZ OAO).
Russian delegation will show 59 final models, including aviation engines for MiG and Su-family fighter aircraft, radar-tracking and optical devices.
The Russian delegation is expected to hold a press conference.
Since 2000, it has been one of the major world’s defense biennial exhibitions. The Russian Federation has been a long-standing participant of DEFEXPO INDIA.
